Robert Redmond is a Hurricane Katrina survivor born and raised in South Louisiana. After the storm, he went through most all of the Insurance claims, FEMA Applications, and the Louisiana "Road Home Program". As like most everyone who flooded, little insurance nor aid made it through to help recovery.
He is a retired Merchant Marine Captain who has seen Civil Wars that caused the fall of governments overnight, and entire economies collapse overnight. He owned his own school to teach Navigation, Celestial Navigation, Weather, and Marine Law to Captains preparing for Coast Guard exams. He taught in Louisiana and in the Florida Keys. He has traveled throughout the world working hauling cargo, on small tankers, and worked in the Oil and Gas Industry.
